• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases • Handle database creation, migration, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions • Implement and manage strong security protocols (encryption, authentication, compliance) • Monitor and tune performance to ensure high availability and reliability • Automate routine tasks with shell scripting and tools like Crontab • Support applications, troubleshoot database issues, and participate in on-call rotations • Work closely with Oracle support and internal teams to resolve issues quickly
