• Provide oversight over financial examinations and regulatory consulting services for state insurance departments in a lead role • Develop relationships with and sell regulatory services to clients; manage and grow a significant book of business • Prepare and perform QA reviews of proposals and serve as Examiner-in-Charge (EIC) on examinations • Ensure work is delivered with high quality, on time, and within budget; supervise and develop staff; recruit • Lead multi-state risk-focused, targeted, and interim financial examinations in accordance with the NAIC Handbook • Handle all aspects of client relationship and project execution from RFP/proposal through contracting, planning, execution, and deliverables • Review and assess insurance company documentation and data for compliance with insurance statutes and regulations • Draft examination deliverables (Report on Examination, Management Letter, Summary Review Memorandum), exhibits, and supporting schedules • Perform reviews of assisting examiners’ work papers and provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback • Recommend/document actions to ensure compliance and lead discussions with examinee companies to support issue resolution • Provide trainings and presentations to state insurance department employees or internal staff on examination topics and risk-focused examination matters • Serve as a trusted business advisor to regulators and lead thought leadership initiatives
