Job Description

• Lead the development effort within assigned workstream, recommending technical designs and developing solutions for complex user stories • Assign user stories to mid-level developers and system administrators and provide guidance to ensure quality output • Lead design discussions with clients and translate requirements into technical specifications • Develop and optimize complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, and Service Portal configurations • Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party systems • Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior and mid-level developers • Follow Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Produce technical documentation and participate in client-facing design sessions

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including core platform and one or more advanced modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, GRC)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required
  • At least 1 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is required
  • Proficient in scripting and development such as JavaScript
  • Experience with Integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party systems
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and practical implementation within ServiceNow
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize complex workflows, business rules, and UI policies
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring Service Portal
  • Ability to lead design discussions, translate requirements into technical specifications, and mentor junior developers
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proactive in design discussions with the client
  • Experience in writing technical documents
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience
  • ITIL Certification
  • Exposure to architectural frameworks
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
