Job Description

• Work side-by-side with Snowflake’s strategic life sciences customers and build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders • Partner with sales, marketing, product management, industry principals, and channel partners to create compelling solution offerings • Architect, build, and take solutions to market across life sciences sub-verticals and critical workloads • Create life sciences specific technical selling assets: reference architectures, use case solution POVs, demos, customer case studies, and solutions • Identify industry trends, technical requirements and technical gaps and partner with product management for prioritization • Collaborate with Global and Regional System Integration partners to define Snowflake-centric offerings for the life sciences industry • Enable AE and SE communities on industry trends, partner capabilities and solution offerings • Contribute to industry marketing activities such as webinars, conferences, and blogs • Provide RFP support, solution architecture reviews, and run Snowdays including bespoke solution/lab setups

Job Requirements

3+ years of architecture experience building, consulting to, and/or implementing technology for Life Sciences business units and / or Life Sciences Companies
Understanding of life sciences data topics and overall challenges and opportunities impacting the Life Sciences industry
Experience with technical and design direction including large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and public cloud technologies
Understanding of Data Science & Machine Learning concepts and applications in the Life Sciences industry
Familiarity with key sources of enterprise data and technologies
Presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
The ability to travel to customer sites, industry events and other related events as required
Knowledge of SQL and Python with hands-on experience required
Successfully applied technology to solve business problems in the Life Sciences industry (preferred)
