Job Description
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries and clients.
• Understand client needs and requirements and work with ICC engineering teams to translate them into technical solutions and proposals.
• Proposals will include scoping projects, estimating costs, and defining deliverables.
• Interact with various stakeholders, including client engineering teams, project management, procurement, and site and client leadership teams.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts and relationships through regular communication and support.
• Develop new clients through a pipeline that includes industry research, cold and warm reach-outs, meeting discovery, client validation, identifying specific opportunities, and developing proposals.
• Work to overcome objections, move opportunities through a pipeline, and negotiate with leads.
• Actively maintain a database of prospective clients interested in the company's products or services and log activity in the sales platform.
• Prepare reports on client interactions, sales activities, and other tasks assigned by the sales team.
• Support the maintenance of customer accounts daily, working to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality work under pressure.
• Use marketing strategies to engage current and potential customers.
• Work to follow up with prospects and log activity in the sales platform.
• Travel to meet clients as needed; visit customers in medium-noise, non-climate controlled facilities with regular exposure to dust and residue; machinery will be present and in operation.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; perform tasks requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering experience in a professional environment.
- MBA or a desire to grow and work towards an MBA.
- Ability to work independently but also collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Experience with marketing platforms and strategies.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality work while under pressure.
- Ability to combine prospecting tools strategically.
- Investing in continuous training.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
