Job Description
• Partner with leadership and product teams to define go-to-market, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning
• Translate complex customer needs into actionable product improvements and craft value proposition
• Design and deliver tailored demos, proofs-of-concept, demo scripts, strategy, and playbooks to scale Sales Engineering
• Train the sales team on demos and enablement to shorten sales cycles
• Find innovative ways to get prospects close to the product without formal demos
• Lead technical presentations and proofs-of-concept and support sales conversations by addressing technical questions
• Partner on proposals, documentation, and technical solutioning
• Relay customer feedback to inform product roadmap
• As a founding hire, recruit, mentor, and shape cross-functional collaboration
• Report to the VP of Sales and partner closely with Account Executives, Product Managers, and Customer Success
Job Requirements
- 3+ years in a Sales Engineer or technical sales role
- Founding SE/startup experience a plus
- Industry experience in facility management software, enterprise restaurant technology, or other complex SaaS solutions
- Proven ability to translate product into value and inform go-to-market strategy
- Experience building value-based demo strategies, scripts, and large-scale presentations
- Strong technical aptitude; quick to learn, explain, and position complex SaaS solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate technical to non-technical
- Authorization to work in the United States; Ecotrak uses E-Verify to verify employment eligibility
