• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations • Manage and optimize financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analyses • Forecast cash flow and revenue based on insurance defense billing cycles and collections timing • Analyze billing trends, carrier payments, write-downs, and rate adjustments • Partner with firm leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations • Support and collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency • Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial best practices • Assist with system evaluation and potential transition of legal billing platforms
