Job Description

• Assist with the preparation of indirect tax returns, including US sales and use tax and Canadian HST and PST • Maintain the indirect tax calendar to ensure all returns and payments are filed on time • Prepare account reconciliations and/or journal entries for tax related general ledger accounts • Support the approval process and organization of multi-state sales tax exemption certificates • Maintain documentation regarding internal tax processes • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives • Assist with ad hoc tax projects and planning initiatives as required

Job Requirements

3+ years of tax, accounting, or finance experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a large multinational corporation
Post-secondary degree (i.e., Bachelor’s degree) in Accounting or Finance is a plus but is not required; relevant practical experience will be prioritized.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Excel, Word)
Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Stripe is a plus
Detail oriented, analytical and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Advanced English proficiency required for daily interaction with US-based team.
