Job Description
• Responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, maintain product backlogs, and facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
• Own and prioritize the execution and operations backlog.
• Gather requirements from sources that include other teams, external users, and clients.
• Translate real-world validation findings into clear implementation and validation tickets.
• Prioritize backlog based on facility-onboarding timelines, dependencies, and validation results.
• Ensure backlog reflects data-quality issues, execution risks, and adoption barriers.
• Align backlog to implementation metrics.
• Collaborate with the Agile PM to address blockers, dependencies, and stakeholder needs.
• Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Organize and lead sprint planning sessions, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with Scrum Team to maintain well-defined product backlogs, prioritize items, and ensure proper sizing and estimations.
• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
• Analyze complex business problems and processes to recommend effective solutions.
• Document business processes and prioritize drive requirements across teams.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement business requirements.
• Facilitate meetings between business stakeholders and technical teams and communicate requirement changes effectively to stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment, encouraging open communication, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives, implementing improvements, and sharing best practices.
• Work on complex features within established projects.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, user guides, and training materials.
• Ensure alignment between business and technical needs.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
• Track and report on key Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint progress.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health informatics, computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
- At least six years of relevant work experience
- Experience as a business analyst or similar role in software-development projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum practices
- Proficiency in tools for requirements-management and documentation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
- Ability to work well with diverse, distributed teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements
