Job Description
Job Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of FOIA request processing within the last 36 months
- Comprehensive knowledge of FOIA exemptions, request types, timelines, and fee categories
- Ability to analyze and interpret FOIA requests and determine tasking and search requirements
- Skilled in conducting or validating searches for responsive records
- Proficient in applying redaction software accurately and documenting exemption decisions
- Strong written communication skills for drafting responses and summaries
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to pass the Veterans Administration background investigation
- Minimum Education Level - associate degree with FOIA-related training preferred
