• Prepare, review, and process client and expert invoices in accordance with agreed-upon rates, and terms • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, contracts and company policies • Research, identify, and resolve billing discrepancies or rejections • Load invoices and accruals/estimates into electronic billing portal • Process retainer applications as needed • Create invoices for retainers as needed • Update client billing instructions as needed • Support month-end closing processes by meeting billing deadlines • Communicate with internal departments to clarify billable items and resolve issues • Respond to billing-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner • Other duties as needed
