Job Description

• Design, implement, and optimize rendering systems to support high visual fidelity. • Build and maintain custom rendering tech within a third-party engine. • Collaborate with the art and tech art teams to create efficient tools and workflows that enhance visual impact. • Work across disciplines to develop innovative rendering approaches for large-scale, open-world environments. • Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems to improve performance and memory usage. • Partner with the Lead Graphics Engineer to support the growth of less experienced engineers and contribute to team-wide technical guidance. • Promote high code quality and adherence to engineering standards. • Actively seek and incorporate feedback to improve system design and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Typically, candidates bring 10+ years of experience in game development, with at least 5 years focused on graphics programming.
  • Experience working on AAA console titles, especially using Unreal Engine.
  • Proficiency in C++ with a deep understanding of graphics programming.
  • Strong knowledge of rendering techniques, shaders, ray tracing, and GPU/CPU architecture.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve GPU-related crashes and performance issues.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, ideally with a shipped title.
  • Familiarity with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan) and tools like RenderDoc or Pix.
  • Strong interest in visual innovation and quality in games.
  • Solid multithreaded programming skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize performance at a low level.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaborative mindset.
