• Coordination with various teams such as server and network team, business users, SMEs, project managers, stake holders and PI support team members. • PI server hardware upgrade and interface migration, data migration and backup validation. • PI system support during burn in period, issue management, handover to support post cutover and burn in period. • Support during hardware and system review for operation readiness. • PI Collective upgrade and cutover from existing system. • PI layered products upgrade with PI server such as AF system, ACE System Integration testing. • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. • Train users to use AVEVA PI software. • Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. • Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status. • Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects. • Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. • Advise customer about or perform maintenance of software system.
