Job Description
• Write multiple daily blog posts about Philadelphia sports, regional culture, legal sports betting, and prediction markets.
• Contribute to our social media platforms while looking for unique and creative story angles that other outlets aren't pursuing.
• Attend local events with some regularity.
• Identify the offbeat things that make the region unique.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia sports
- 2 to 3 years of experience in journalism or content creation
- The ability to write in a casual blog style, 5-7 posts per day on average
- Social media skills and experience (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
- Basic understanding of legal sports betting apps and event trading platforms (prediction markets) & comfortability tying Philly sports predictions into betting markets
- On-camera experience is helpful
- Cannot be a Cowboys, Mets, or Celtics fan.
- This job requires personality, levity, and a fan-first approach to sports.
- Must be an assertive grinder who loves Philly sports - someone who is a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
