Job Description

• Responsible for leading the procurement function within the portfolio of sites on a client account • Developing and executing procurement strategies • Leading strategic sourcing, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Developing effective working relationships with suppliers • Implementing operational efficiencies, managing supplier performance • Directly engaging with the Client, Account Management Team, Suppliers , C&W Corporate and other key stakeholders to develop positive, productive partnerships • Developing, maintaining and leading implementation of a global strategic sourcing roadmap and related category sourcing strategies • Managing supplier audits, business reviews and other supplier relationship management partnership strategies • Analyzing account-wide data, benchmarks, market research, case studies and processes to identify and maximize value creation opportunities • Developing and executing end-to-end eRFP’s • Interpreting legal and business implications of contractual terms & conditions; advising stakeholders of contractual rights / risks • Managing the development, installation, utilization and maintenance of data in tracking & reporting tools

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • MBA or related Master's Degree preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in procurement/ strategic sourcing, ideally in facilities-related categories
  • Understanding of the Strategic Sourcing process and demonstrated proficiency with e-tools such as e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems
  • Must possess legal knowledge, ability to prepare/negotiate agreements & amendments, and the ability to explain to clients the specifics of the contracts
  • Must possess analytical and quantitative skills with ability to analyze and interpret information, data and related documentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, results-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated and work independently to find solutions
  • Experience effectively leading cross-functional teams
  • Project management experience
