Job Description
• In this role, you will provide development support, strategic planning, expert consulting, conceptual design and engineering design oversight within the SLC project portfolio in support of power projects.
• You will also have the opportunity to support and lead project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contracting strategies.
• Your responsibilities will include preparing project implementation strategies and plans, expert consulting, owner’s engineering reviews, technical due diligence, process improvement evaluations, project development support, and conceptual planning.
Job Requirements
- This position requires a BS in engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background.
- 15 or more years of experience in the energy/power industry
- Experience with electric utilities, IPPs, or energy project development.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Experience in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering design reviews of power projects is a plus.
- Detailed understanding of power station operations and performance reviews is a plus.
- Detailed understanding of electric utility business processes and operations.
- Economic, cost analysis, and contract development experience is a plus.
