Job Description
• Conduct professional learning services for schools and districts across the country using LETRS professional learning
• Deliver sessions Monday-Friday during business hours at least 2-3 days a month
• Facilitate sessions both online and in-person
• Provide effective presentation skills in in-person and virtual settings
• Utilize technology-based productivity tools including Microsoft Office, Google and other web applications
• Participate in live online LETRS sessions and training
Job Requirements
- Spanish proficiency
- Expertise supporting Multilingual Learners
- Deep background knowledge of Science of Reading
- Knowledge of structured literacy
- Experience with Dual Immersion or ESL/ELL/ELD certification/experience
- Minimum of 3 years of direct teaching experience with multilingual learners
- Bachelor's degree in elementary education, curriculum/instruction, speech/language pathology, education administration, school psychology, or comparable (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years teaching experience
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience (administrative, central office/agency, teacher leader, instructional coach etc.)
- Experience delivering training to audiences of up to 50
- Experience coaching/consulting teachers in applying best practices
- Experience navigating remote meeting platforms
- Experience in client/partnership management
- Certified or endorsed in Dual Immersion (preferred), ESL/ELL (or equivalent); or demonstrated equivalent experience in lieu of formal certification
- Demonstrated Spanish language proficiency (oral and written)
