Job Description

About the Company

Anspar Foundation is building a patient-facing mobile application for Cure HHT, the leading international patient advocacy organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) — a rare inherited bleeding disorder affecting 1 in 5,000 people worldwide.

Our Flutter-based mobile app helps patients track symptoms, supports clinical research, and contributes to the development of new therapies. This role focuses on stabilizing and improving the reliability of the application.

About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, self-organized Flutter developer to join us on a short-term contract to help stabilize our mobile application. You will focus entirely on fixing bugs, improving reliability, and resolving issues across iOS and Android.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role — you’ll be jumping into an active project, analyzing and fixing issues, and helping ensure the app works smoothly for patients and researchers alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, investigate, and fix bugs in a Flutter (Dart) mobile application
  • Debug issues across iOS and Android devices and simulators
  • Work with backend APIs to reproduce and resolve errors
  • Review crash reports, logs, and analytics to prioritize and address critical issues
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Engineer to understand issues and validate fixes
  • Improve app stability and reliability without introducing regressions

Job Requirements

  • What We Value
  • Strong debugging skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Reliability and focus on delivering results quickly
  • Comfort working with an existing codebase and making incremental improvements
  • Clear communication — especially when reporting issues and progress
  • Requirements
  • 1–4 years of experience with Flutter / Dart
  • Hands-on experience debugging Flutter apps on iOS and Android
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming in Dart
  • Comfortable reading and improving existing code
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics)
  • Bonus Experience
  • Familiarity with Flutter testing frameworks (widget tests, integration tests)
  • Experience fixing production bugs in mobile apps
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments

Benefits

  • Remote work
  • Flexible schedule
  • Work on meaningful patient-facing software
  • Opportunity to extend the contract based on performance
