Job Description

• The Senior Consulting Product Manager leads the entire product function for client engagements, shaping product strategy and overseeing multiple workstreams. • You will work directly with client executives and steering committees, operating with significant autonomy while helping to identify expansion opportunities and coach more junior PMs. • This is not a classic PM role it requires deep PM skills applied in a consulting context. • Lead the product function for major client engagements, shaping strategy and overseeing multiple workstreams. • Work directly with client executives, sponsors, and steering committees to drive strategic decisions. • Navigate organizational politics and build trusted relationships at the executive level. • Help clients implement product development lifecycles, build stakeholder alignment, and establish roadmap governance. • Bridge subject matter experts (clinical, operational, commercial) with engineering and design teams. • Partner with Studio@Newfire to integrate research, service design, and UX into engagements. • Advise clients on AI-powered product features and design patterns. • Coach and guide more junior Consulting PMs. • Identify and qualify opportunities to expand engagements or deepen client relationships. • Develop playbooks and templates that become standard practice across engagements. • Contribute to winning new work through pre-sales support and thought leadership.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in formal product management roles, including leadership of complex initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level
  • Experience in multiple organizations with ability to adapt to different cultures and constraints
  • Track record of helping organizations improve how they do product work
  • Strong bridge-building skills—ability to translate between clinical/operational/commercial domains and technical teams
  • Active use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) in your work with ability to advise others on AI capabilities
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) with ability to present to executives, facilitate workshops, and create clear documentation
  • Self-directed with ability to operate autonomously and build playbooks for others
