• Oversee the end-to-end development of radar sensing architectures, including module-level, board-level, and flex designs up through mmWave operating frequencies. • Work closely with hardware engineers, embedded systems engineers, software developers, product managers, key stakeholders, and our outsourced manufacturing partners to integrate complex radio platforms into Inspiren’s ecosystem. • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Author schematics and drive layout optimizations for RF/mmWave modules using extensive EM simulations to realize aggressive product requirements. • Conduct design reviews and both design and process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), partnering with our design and development partners to drive rigorous Design for Cost (DfX), supply chain, reliability, quality, and manufacturing methodologies. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation through a culture of continuous learning. • Perform RF system lineup analyses to ensure designs meet industry standards. Architect characterization setups and drive debug activities in the lab and at production partner labs, including conducted characterization and OTA characterization in anechoic chambers. • Troubleshoot complex RF/mmWave design issues, linearity/noise flow-down challenges, and implementation constraints to ensure robust mass production builds.
