Job Description

• Develop and execute innovative, scalable recruitment strategies to attract and hire diverse, high-performing talent across the organization. • Partner closely with senior leaders to understand business objectives, workforce planning needs, and evolving talent priorities. • Monitor industry and market trends—particularly within professional services—to ensure Burkland remains competitive in its approach to hiring. • Use data to inform decisions and continuously improve the recruitment process. • Build and strengthen Burkland’s employer brand, clearly articulating our culture, values, and employee experience to position us as an employer of choice. • Own the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing and closing candidates. • Craft compelling job descriptions and manage postings across various platforms. • Build a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. • Provide coaching and feedback to hiring managers and interview teams, including developing and leading “Interview Best Practices” training. • Create a positive and engaging experience for all candidates, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the hiring and onboarding process. • Champion Burkland’s employer brand by sharing our culture and values with candidates. • Serve as DEIB lead and member of the DEIB Advocacy Leadership Team. • Facilitate and expand employee engagement activities such as cultural events, coffee chats and lunch and learns, new hire buddy programs, and more.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruitment.
  • Proven ability to manage both high-volume as well as specialized or niche hiring in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment, across multiple time zones.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring initiatives.
  • Takes initiative and applies a proactive approach to talent acquisition needs.
  • Possesses a positive, solution-oriented disposition when navigating challenges.
