Job Description
• Lead and manage EMR/EHR integration projects supporting ambulatory cardiac monitoring workflows from point of sale through implementation, go-live, and post-conversion support.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of cardiac device and clinical data integrations, including Holter, event monitoring, and mobile cardiac telemetry workflows.
• Collaborate with clients, account executives, vendors, and internal clinical, technical, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project intake, scope definition, and validation of integration requirements including HL7, FHIR, and device-driven clinical workflows.
• Coordinate integrations between cardiac data platforms, device systems, and EMR/EHR environments to support order, result, and billing workflows.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions covering clinical workflow, data mapping, connectivity, and integration architecture.
• Coordinate interface development activities including message specifications, mapping validation, transport setup (VPN/SFTP/API), and testing cycles.
• Work with customer EMR teams and internal engineers to implement and validate: ADT, ORM, and ORU HL7 workflows FHIR/API-based integrations where applicable; Device-to-platform-to-EMR data flows
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and interface validation progress, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Support integrated testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live readiness activities.
• Provide onsite or remote support during implementation and go-live events as required.
• Maintain accurate project and account documentation within CRM and internal tracking systems.
• Conduct customer presentations and training sessions related to cardiac workflow integrations and EMR processes.
• Communicate project status, integration readiness, and workflow considerations to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure projects are executed efficiently to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of healthcare IT project management or integration experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Experience with HL7 v2.x workflows including ADT, ORM, ORU, and DFT.
- Familiarity with FHIR-based integrations, REST APIs, and modern interoperability frameworks.
- Experience coordinating interface testing cycles including unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent technical implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation experience.
- Experience working with clinical operations, diagnostic services, or cardiology workflows preferred.
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage change effectively.
