Job Description
• Administers benefit plans ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Advises employees on eligibility and coverage
• Supports annual open enrollment project and process
• Reconciles vendor invoices and resolves discrepancies
• Serves as primary contact for employees
• Audits vendors for compliance and resolves issues
• Develops and updates benefits communications
• Facilitates new employee benefits orientation
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of benefits experience
- Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits programs
- Computer proficiency with MS Office (advanced Excel skills required)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and self-starter attitude
- Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries
- Must be professional and adaptable
