Job Description
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving the persistence layers of the NTIRA software system.
• Providing SQL development support in a web-based environment.
• Designing, coding, testing and implementing SQL stored procedures.
• Consolidating views from multiple database tables and building complex queries.
• Designing database tables and schemas to support web application development within SQL Server database environment.
• Performing work outside the database domain as required.
Job Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in database-oriented work.
- Experience working with SQL/web-based development.
- Ability to ensure robust stability of the system while identifying, researching, and developing improvements.
- IAT Level II, Cloud Certifications (Cloud+, AWS, etc.).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Candidate Differentiators:**
- Experience with Naval Tool for Interoperability and Risk Assessment (NTIRA).
- Experience designing, creating, and optimizing large relational databases or warehouses with integrated DOD and DON security standards.
- Experience with Integration Service (SSIS) packages and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Database administration experience in an AWS environment.
- Proactive, independent, flexible, team-player
- Experience working in an Atlassian environment, e.g., Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc.
