Job Description

• Help build and evolve our next-generation cloud based compute platform for digitally-delivered life insurance • Collaborate with other developers and a product manager to build software that is part of Sureify’s core product suite

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing production-quality code
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers
  • Experience designing relational database schemas
  • A firm understanding of object oriented design or functional programming as well as common data structures and algorithms
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team
  • Experience working with 3rd party software integrations (REST APIs, JSON, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of the challenges of distributed systems
  • Experience building secure applications and methodically improving application performance (Profilers, APM tools, Security scanning tools)
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling
  • Must be able to work mostly during Pacific Time Zone hours
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
