Job Description
• Assist category managers with category planning and strategy development
• Lead the client’s defined strategic sourcing execution process
• Build cost models and launch RFIs/RFPs
• Evaluate bids and execute negotiation strategies
• Manage supplier relationships
• Create a positive work environment and foster collaboration
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 – 7 years of work experience in contracts, negotiations, procurement, or sourcing
- 5+ years of experience with strategic sourcing or supporting a sourcing organization
- Deep understanding of strategic sourcing methods
- Expertise in one or more indirect spend categories such as MRO, Capital, Professional Services, IT, Marketing, Logistics
- Ability to draft simple to complex contractual agreements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
