Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks to support the therapy team
  • Schedule client appointments and maintain calendars for therapists
  • Assist with maintaining client records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff regarding appointments and services
  • Handle billing and insurance claims processing
  • Coordinate supplies and equipment needs for therapy sessions
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and outreach programs

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations
  • A compassionate attitude and a desire to support individuals with speech and language challenges
