Job Description

• Troubleshooting Beaker/LIS incidents • Analyzing workflows • Monitoring and resolving interface errors • Performing low to moderate complexity system build and configuration to ensure reliable and efficient application performance • Participating in feasibility analysis, estimating, planning, designing, developing, prototyping, building, testing, implementing, quality assurance evaluation and modification of automated systems • Collaborating with system users and other IT professionals to evaluate, plan, design, implement, and provide ongoing optimization and preventative maintenance support for Beaker/LIS applications • Analyzing, designing, and building workflows to meet the needs of Beaker/LIS users

Job Requirements

Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Four years of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment or four years of clinical experience in a role utilizing the systems supported by this position (Epic, Beaker, LIS)
OR Bachelor's Degree and two years of clinical or implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of clinical or implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
Certification/proficiency in one or more Epic applications
Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field such as nursing, respiratory, lab, or technical certification in a related field
