• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings • Manage the supplier selection process, including requests for proposals (RFPs) and contract negotiations • Analyze procurement data to monitor spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate support • Maintain accurate records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices • Oversee supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies • Assist in budgeting and forecasting to align procurement activities with financial objectives • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers • Prepare procurement reports and presentations for senior management • Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department • Other duties as assigned.
