About the role As an Engineering Manager at LogicGate, you'll lead a high-performing team building our Risk Cloud SaaS application that helps organizations manage governance, risk, and compliance at scale. You're responsible for developing exceptional engineers and delivering product outcomes that directly impact our customers' ability to manage risk. You'll set technical direction for your team and own how the work gets done. You're accountable for technical execution, team velocity, timelines, and quality. This means driving sustainable delivery of roadmap initiatives while championing modern development practices—test-driven development, frequent releases, continuous improvement. You'll work closely with Product, QA, Customer Success, and fellow engineering leaders to shape technical strategy and execute on ambitious goals. You'll grow your engineers' capabilities, remove obstacles that slow them down, and create an environment where they can do their best work while consistently delivering value to customers and the business. How you'll spend your time: Lead / Manage, grow, and develop 4-6 engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, and career development while removing obstacles that slow them down. Execute / Set technical direction and own how the work gets done—you're accountable for technical execution, team velocity, timelines, and quality. Collaborate / Work closely with Product, QA, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering on prioritization and execution of roadmap items using Agile methodologies. Improve / Assess current engineering practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase developer efficiency and team performance. Partner / Work with senior leadership and other engineering managers to build a collaborative culture and align engineering efforts with company goals.
