Job Description
• Responsible for developing and executing strategies to support procurement objectives
• Manage spend by utilizing a proven sourcing process that engages stakeholders
• Act as subject matter expert on the supply and demand markets
• Analyze global Category or market trends
• Develop and direct annual cost savings programs
• Prepare requests for proposals for assigned materials/services
• Lead supplier selection process and ongoing supplier management
• Act as Liaison for resolving supplier/product related issues
• Provide leadership and coaching to all direct reports
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
- 8 - 12 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 6 years' experience; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent directly related work experience
- 3+ years' supervisory or project/program management experience preferred
- eSourcing experience required
- Proficient with PCs and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Moderate to complex level of financial analysis knowledge including business modeling and problem solving skills
- Experience in negotiating pricing, contract terms and conditions including statements of work (SOWs)
- Experience in providing project management and team leadership for sourcing initiatives stakeholders
