Job Description

• Security Tools, Tenable Security Center, Vulnerability Management • Strong administration experience with: Tenable Nessus, Tenable Security Center, Tenable Agents, Qualys Platform, Qualys VMDR, Qualys CAR, Qualys Policy Assessment (PA), Splunk (SIEM) • Collaborate with technical teams to enhance vulnerability management practices. • Monitor systems in real-time to identify vulnerabilities. • Engage in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. • Create documentation and report findings effectively.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Security+ CE certification (required)
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
Strong administration experience with: Tenable Nessus, Tenable Security Center, Tenable Agents, Qualys Platform, Qualys VMDR, Qualys CAR, Qualys Policy Assessment (PA), Splunk (SIEM)
Solid understanding of: Vulnerability scanning methodologies and CVSS scoring, Risk-based vulnerability management, Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls), SIEM operations, alerting, and dashboard creation
Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
Broad technical background utilizing security technologies, such as Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Network Security
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
Strong written and verbal skills
