Job Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with insurance carriers, MGAs, and other key stakeholders in the industry. • Understand client pain points, present tailored solutions, and position Martin & Company’s services as essential to their success. • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders. • Drive sales of professional services while integrating software solutions into client engagements. • Balance service and software revenue growth to maximize client value and ensure sustainable business expansion. • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. • Work closely with consulting, product, and marketing teams to refine our go-to-market strategy for bundled service/software offerings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition within the property & casualty insurance or insurance technology sectors; proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and closing deals in the $250K+ ACV range
  • Proven ability to sell software-enhanced service models and monetize software as an extension of consulting services.
  • Deep understanding of insurance industry compliance, market needs, and operational challenges.
  • Strong consultative sales approach, with a track record of building trusted client relationships and closing high-value deals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
