Job Description
• Lead team to prepare 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K filings, including review and submission of filings and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
• This will include internal financials until public
• Lead drafting session with executive team and collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on disclosures
• Partner with legal to draft proxy statement, including financial information and executive compensation
• Collaborate with FP&A and investor relations to draft audit committee deck and other earnings-related materials
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting, including sub-certification process for 10-Q/10-K, and manage relationship with auditors
• Coordinate with external auditors during review and audit of 10-Q/10-K to ensure timely sign-off on filings
• Review monthly financial statements and lead discussion of cash flow analysis
• Partner with technical accounting to evaluate complex transactions and implement new accounting standards
• This role will be establishing new processes as well as enhancing existing policies
• This role is critical in the compliance with SEC and US GAAP as well as with our external auditors and will be making key discussions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 10+ years experience in financial reporting
- Public company reporting experience
- Active CPA license
