Position Summary AIO Logic is a growth-stage SaaS fintech company seeking a hands-on Director of Finance & Accounting to build and scale the finance function during a critical expansion phase. We are specifically looking for someone who has operated in a company with fewer than 100 employees and has helped scale financial systems, processes, and controls through rapid growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role requires full ownership. The Director will personally lead month-end close, revenue recognition, and rolling cash flow forecasting while designing the structure needed to support future scale. This is not a strategic-only oversight role — it is a builder role in a fast-moving, founder-led environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing detailed execution with strategic judgment, introducing discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Key Responsibilities Accounting, Controls & Financial Operations Own and oversee the general ledger and full month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls appropriate for a scaling fintech organization. Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory, contractual, and audit requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership responsibility. Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Hands-on experience owning full-cycle accounting in a small or mid-sized organization. Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Ability to operate independently in a growth-stage environment. Preferred CPA or equivalent professional certification. Experience in fintech, SaaS, financial services, or technology-enabled services. Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment. Familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and complex contract structures. Experience supporting audits, investors, board reporting, and fundraising processes.
