Job Requirements
- 5+ years shipping production-grade backend systems at scale
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js proficiency
- Deep expertise with PostgreSQL and hands-on production experience with Redis
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
- API design expertise: you understand schema versioning, backward compatibility, rate limiting, and building APIs that scale
- Senior-level ownership mentality: you can design, build, test, and ship features end-to-end with minimal guidance
- Self-starter energy: you love building code, solving complex problems, and taking initiative
- Attention to detail in system design, security, and performance; you think about edge cases and failure modes
- Excellent communication skills, especially async and written, to collaborate effectively with distributed teams
