Job Description

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Benchling’s small molecule R&D solution, prioritizing features based on market opportunity, customer needs, and business impact. • Own the go-to-market strategy for the product, collaborating with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful launch and adoption. • Partner closely with customers and field teams to deeply understand our customer’s scientific workflows, pain points, and market trends • Translate domain-specific insights into intuitive, scalable software capabilities with exceptional UX/UI that integrate seamlessly across Benchling’s platform • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality products on time and measure success using clear product KPIs • Drive alignment across stakeholders, communicating priorities, tradeoffs, and expected business outcomes clearly and persuasively.

Job Requirements

5+ years of software product management experience, preferably with a B2B SaaS product
Proven ability to lead and ship complex product initiatives and drive 0→1 product development
Bias for action and a history of shipping products quickly and iteratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
Knowledge of small molecule R&D or a demonstrated track record of rapidly building domain expertise in a complex, regulated industry
Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, fast-moving environments.
Empathetic collaborator who can bridge the gap between scientists, engineers, and business teams
