Job Description
• Support development, configuration, and platform enhancements within Salesforce Health Cloud and broker‑specific integrations.
• Focus on hands‑on development, configuration, and production support rather than platform or solution design.
• Management of Salesforce orgs.
• Application of formal DevSecOps processes and tools in a Salesforce-based environment.
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to design, develop, modify, or integrate complex information systems.
• Devises or modifies application systems and procedures to optimize functional requirements including capacity, operating time, response time, and form of desired results.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, subroutines, and scripts.
• Maintains technical skill set for software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities and networks needed to support work assignments.
• Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems.
• Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of Salesforce development experience using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Strong declarative configuration skills, including Flows and preferably OmniStudio.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and supporting applications in production environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and progressing changes through Salesforce environment.
- Salesforce certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years - Systems and programming experience required.
- 1 year - Experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards required.
- 1 year - Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language in use at BCBST.
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Metadata) for integrating Salesforce with other systems.
- Understanding of Health Cloud objects, components, and flows.
- Proven analysis, design, and coding skills.

- This role does require an on-call support rotation about once every four weeks.
