Job Requirements
- The National Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of Account Management with Dane Street’s client base. An in-depth understanding of the Disability marketplace with LTD claims or clinical experience is strongly preferred.
- This position reports to the Director, Disability Account Management. **
- EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
- An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Disability Claims experience in an insurance setting is preferred.
- 1 – 3 years in Account Management, Business Development, or client-facing sales roles.
- Experience with outbound outreach, prospecting, or revenue generation strongly preferred.
- JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a strong sense of urgency to meet our clients’ expectations
- Passionate customer service orientation**Ability to confidently initiate outreach and develop new client relationships
- Excellent time management and attention to detail**Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Track record of client retention and revenue growth
- Experience navigating web-based systems efficiently, including Google Docs
- Present exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines. The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines. Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
- WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work.
- WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Supply and support their own internet services.
- Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work from home position.
