Job Description

• Manage the P&L for a services region in line with revenue and margin targets.
• Working closely with the Regional Sales Managers to define, scope and sell project engagements.
• Attain mastery over and become subject knowledge expert in Cloudera software & engagement.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of successfully managing a P&L for a services region, preferably within an enterprise software company.
- Experience leading the selling and scoping activities on large scale, complex technology infrastructure projects.
- Direct line manager experience of a geographically dispersed team of highly technical employees.
- Customer relationship management including project escalations, and participating in executive steering meetings.
- Strong foundational knowledge of database technologies, networks, distributed computing, programming languages and operating systems.
- Hadoop experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- 50-70% travel anticipated, within the region.
- Masters degree in Computer Science and/or business administration desirable.
