Job Description

• Responsible for answering employee questions via the Benefits email inbox. • Administer and support employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, wellness, retirement, disability, and related plans. • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, benefit vendors, and insurance carriers; respond to inquiries and resolve issues with a high level of professionalism and care. • Manage all Leave of Absence (LOA) cases, including FMLA and other statutory or company leaves, ensuring timely approvals, documentation, communication, compliance, and return-to-work coordination. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and benefits data within HRIS and payroll systems. • Partner closely with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions, enrollments, and plan changes. • Reconcile benefit invoices and address discrepancies in collaboration with vendors and internal partners. • Develop and deliver employee-facing benefits communications, training materials, and presentations as needed. • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local benefits and leave regulations. • Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience working in Human Resources supporting employees Benefits Administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of employee benefit plans and leave regulations (FMLA, ADA, and applicable state leave laws).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
