• This is a remote position. • The Sales Tax Specialist is responsible for managing multi-state and international indirect tax compliance, with a primary focus on U.S. sales and use tax and Canadian consumption taxes. • This role supports nexus analysis, registrations, return filings, exemption certificate management, and ongoing administration of tax automation software (primarily Avalara). • The position works cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and external tax authorities to ensure accurate and timely compliance. • Monitor and analyze economic and physical nexus thresholds across U.S. jurisdictions. • Conduct sales tax exposure analyses to support registration decisions. • Set up, maintain, and remove sales tax returns in Avalara.
