Job Description
• Responsible for all phases of the software implementation methodology including planning, requirements gathering, solution design, tax configuration, testing, knowledge transfer, and cutover support
• Project management activities such as leading status calls, creating status reports, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining project plans
• Create and maintain project documentation including functional specifications
• Offer/apply in-depth knowledge of tax technology best practices and function as a subject matter expert to clients
• Lead tax requirements sessions with clients for input to the solution design
• Customization pertaining to the SAP tax interface in SD, MM and FI module of SAP (ECC and S4)
• Assist with troubleshooting functional and technical issues related to tax solutions
• Explain the high-level differences among the tax engine solutions and define opportunities for improvement for existing tax technology solutions
• Assist management with business development activities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field required
- 5-7 years’ experience with tax engine integrations and full life-cycle implementations
- Strong knowledge of tax application configuration procedures within SAP
- Working experience in troubleshooting and debugging erroneous results during testing cycles is a plus
- Working functional experience with MDG, CRM, C/4, PI/PO, CPI or BTP is a plus
- Strong knowledge on the integration between SD, FI and MM modules
- Proficiency in analyzing and debugging ABAP code in SAP User Exits, BAPIs and BADIs is a plus
- Experience with Vendor Procurement and Invoice Management solutions such as ARIBA, Coupa, Esker, OnBase is a plus
- Ability to define required data components required for non-standard integrations
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, and take initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Expertise with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects, Access)
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
