• Supervise and develop the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management. • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures. • Support all accounting functions for our 4-Wall Business, encompassing owned-and-operated pet care facilities. • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Support the Controller in managing audit relationships. • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements. • Support the finance team in the development of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic planning and decision-making. • Support the implementation of best-in-class accounting software solutions. • Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to design accounting policies for new features.
