We’re seeking a highly organized Technical Product Manager to lead and oversee our data science and research initiatives. This role requires someone who can bridge technical and business objectives, drive multiple complex projects to completion, and elevate the performance of our data science team. The ideal candidate combines product and project management excellence with technical understanding and an AI-forward approach to problem-solving. Get a deep understanding of business objectives to define the roadmap of the Data Science team Oversee multiple concurrent data science projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery Create and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation plans Implement agile methodologies to improve team velocity and output quality Track KPIs and provide regular status updates to leadership Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact deliverables Manage and coordinate the data science team (currently 3 members) Provide clear direction and accountability for all team members Facilitate collaboration between data science, engineering, and client teams Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to ensure alignment Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or hiring needs Pressure test data science proposals and methodologies for feasibility Review and QA data analyses, dashboards, and research outputs Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements Collaborate with engineers on dashboard development using modern tools (including AI coding assistants like Claude) Drive adoption of AI tools to increase team productivity Oversee the research paper publication pipeline Ensure white papers and studies are accurate, impactful, and delivered on schedule Coordinate with marketing on research distribution and thought leadership Identify opportunities for new data studies based on client needs and market trends Serve as primary point of contact for data science project requests Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Manage expectations and communicate project status effectively Build strong relationships with internal teams and key clients
