Job Description

The Network Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for leading a small team of network engineers, developing and implementing strategies to ensure Vetcor’s network is able to support the needs of the business. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in network technologies and procedures. The Network Infrastructure Manager will work closely with IT, Security, Legal, and other departments. This role is accountable for network architecture, operational outcomes, and standards, while delegating hands-on implementation to engineers, vendors, and service providers. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network management
  • Strong knowledge of configuring Firewalls, Routers, Switches, WAPs, TCP/IP in large scale environments
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful network programs
  • Strong knowledge of network technologies, policies, and best practices including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VLANs, VPNs, Cloud Networking, Load Balancing and High Availability
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable
