Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or online retail; 5+ years in senior leadership overseeing global marketplace operations.
- Proven track record of delivering growth at scale in Amazon and/or other major international marketplaces.
- Demonstrated success scaling a global marketplace business across Amazon and emerging channels.
- Proven ability to build global governance models and process consistency.
- Strong executive leadership skills with experience managing direct and indirect teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, and business modeling capability to set the strategic vision for the Marketplace business.
- Expertise in marketplace algorithms, catalog management, vendor operations, and omnichannel retail strategy.
- Advanced negotiation skills with major marketplace partners.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across complex matrixed environments.
- Strong data analysis and KPI driven operational leadership.
- High degree of agility and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving marketplace landscape.
- Represent the Marketplace division at the SVP/EVP level, ensuring strategic alignment and visibility of business performance.
