Job Description

Sodexo is seeking a Sr. Bid Manager, Commercial Sales to lead our most complex, high-value pursuits across North America for our Campus segment in the Central and Mountain territory. In this remote role, you’ll act as a strategic advisor to sales executives—shaping win strategies, embedding governance, and elevating proposal quality through innovation and AI-enabled tools. Lead the bid process for Sodexo’s most complex, multi-million-dollar, and strategically significant pursuits. Act as a strategic advisor, shaping win strategies, competitive positioning, and proposal themes with sales leaders and operations. Facilitate executive-level bid reviews, ensuring alignment with pricing guardrails, risk policies, and growth priorities. Govern bid standards and enforce approval workflows to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing outcomes, introducing AI-enabled tools, and reducing cycle time. Mentor and coach junior bid staff, building team capabilities through training, playbooks, and best practices. Engage stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to deliver winning proposals. Oversee final quality control and compliance checks, ensuring seamless handoff to implementation teams.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience leading complex, high-value, and strategic bids in a competitive B2B environment.
  • Strong knowledge of bid governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Executive presence with the ability to advise senior sales leaders and influence win strategies.
  • Expertise in using analytics, AI tools, and automation to drive efficiency and improve win rates.
  • Track record of coaching and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and elevating performance.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
  • Detail orientation with a passion for producing high-quality, client-ready proposals.
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years.
