We're proud to share our story and Make Amazing Happen at CDW. * Position Overview: * We are seeking a seasoned * Active Directory Engineer * with over 5 years of experience to support a secure federal government environment. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Active Directory infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting federal agencies and must hold an active * Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) * clearance. * Key Responsibilities: * Design, deploy, and manage Active Directory (AD) environments including forests, domains, trusts, and group policies. * Maintain and troubleshoot AD replication, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services. * Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions. * Ensure AD security and compliance with federal standards (e.g., STIGs, NIST). * Perform upgrades, patching, and health checks of AD infrastructure. * Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and systems teams to support enterprise initiatives. * Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications: * Preferred Qualifications: * Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator). * Experience with PKI, LDAP, Kerberos, and SAML. * Knowledge of identity federation and single sign-on (SSO) solutions. * Experience with enterprise monitoring and auditing tools. * Work Environment: * On-site at * Fort Meade, MD * Secure, mission-driven federal setting. * Collaborative team environment with cross-functional technical teams. * We make technology work so people can do great things. * CDW is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Job Requirements

  • Active FS Polygraph Clearance
  • (mandatory).
  • Minimum
  • 5 years of experience
  • in Active Directory engineering or systems administration.
  • Strong understanding of AD architecture, GPOs, OU design, and domain trust relationships.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with federal government IT environments and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Azure AD, and Office 365.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
