The EHR Support Specialist, under the supervision of the Health Information Systems Manager, will oversee the day-to-day support of both production and test EHR platforms, and serve as the primary point of support for EHR system users. Job responsibilities will include application support, configuration, and testing. This position will support any new or upgrade implementation module(s). Implementation tasks will include redesigning workflows, facilitating end-user application training, support go-live activities, monitoring and user adoption of existing and new workflows implemented, and reporting findings and trends. The EHR Specialist will provide ongoing training and support for all existing and new staff members and assist users in applying EHR upgrades and conversions. Minimum Qualifications: GED or High School Diploma Minimum of 2 years supporting an enterprise-class Electronic Health Records system Strong knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organization and time management skills Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance. No more than 5 points on license. Preferred Experience: Detailed knowledge of electronic health record administration - EHR Super User verified training /certification a plus Experience with NextGen Enterprise Proficiency with Microsoft Office Proficiency in managing a help desk portal, handling high volumes of support tickets, and efficiently resolving technical issues to meet service level agreements (SLAs) Competencies and Attributes: Technical Proficiency with EHR Systems Problem Solving Orientation Application Support and Issue Resolution Adaptability and Flexibility Communication Skills Customer-Service Mindset Time Management and Organization Professionalism and Integrity Knowledge of HIPAA and Compliance Standards Collaborative and Team-Oriented Work Hours: This is a full-time remote position, Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST Travel Requirements: Candidates may be based anywhere but should be available for occasional in-state travel to all Boundless facilities Ready to make a difference?
